Yet Another New Beer At Taproom

On Wednesday, November 21 we will begin pouring Sweet Populace Stout. Your favorite brewer, Paul, has partnered with Bay City's own Sweet Boutique and Populace Coffee to create a full bodied cream stout that is like no other! Paul used cocoa nibs from Sweet Boutique and coffee from Populace Coffee to produce a beer with a rich coffee aroma and flavor with a nice chocolate finish. Available by the pint and growler beginning November 21 in the tap room.

On Wednesday, November 14, we will launch our newest beer in the taproom, a Belgian Dark Strong Ale. It is a winter warmer, that Paul has brewed just in time for these cool evenings. This beer is a dark copper color with a nice, spicy aroma in the classic Trappist tradition. The flavor profile is quite complex with some subtle sweetness highlighting hints of orange with a finish that is both spicy and dry. This true winter warmer comes in at over 10% alcohol and is available by the glass as well as growlers. Stop in and enjoy one.

As you saw on facebook, your favorite brewer, Paul Popa, won 3 awards at the US Beer Tasting Championship. All 3 awards were for the Midwest Region.

Session Beer-- Loon's Summer Ale
Dortmunder/Helles-- Hell's Half Mile
Wheat Beer-- Hefeweizen
